The pictures taken in Port Arthur, Tasmania in January 2005.

We (2 families) flew to Tasmania and spent 2 weeks there.

It's an unforgettable trip. Tasmania is quite different from Australia.

It's more like New Zealand, clean, fresh and unpolluted.

It's a very quiet place and all the stores are closed at 5.

We lived in a self-contained cabin

The lobsters and oysters were bought in a container car.

They were very fresh and, of course the lobsters were already cooked(龍蝦已經煮好的...

I don't remember how much they are.

The container car where the crayfish and oysters are sold.

Tasmania

Port Arthur is a place for prisoners long long ago in Australian history.

The youngest prisoner in Port Arthur is less than 10 years old. The "crime" he committed is what every kids would do and we don't think it's even a crime at all.

Therefore, we told our kids, how lucky they are because they were not born at that time. It's a sad memory even Tasmanians would like to forget.
